Our Publishing Ideals
Here at Whitethorn Games, we believe that gaming should be for everyone. We look for titles that offer a comfortable, rewarding, and accessible experience for players from all kinds of backgrounds. Our focus is on relaxing, low-stress gaming, and while that often can mean slow-paced narrative titles, that is not always the case. As long as your title strives to be simple for anyone to pick up and enjoy, we’d love to take a look. Additionally, we strive to be as inclusive as possible in terms of representation and accessibility, and we ask the same of our partners. If you have a welcoming title and might be interested in working together, please keep reading!

Whitethorn and You
We tailor our services to each individual developer’s needs, with a focus on maintaining clear, constant communication throughout the development process. We value maintaining a supportive relationship and are committed to doing everything we can to provide a successful launch for your title! If you would like to learn a bit more about what our contracts look like, as well as some deeper details about our company, you can take a look at our transparency page.
We accept pitches from games at any stage of development, but the more you can show us, the better! To help you put together your pitch, here’s a list of things we love to see when reviewing a prospective title, in order of importance:
Demo - A playable build that represents your game and provides the best sense of how the game feels! This is the ideal way to show off what your game is about!
Gameplay Video/Trailer/Gifs - Something in motion provides our team with a quick way to get an understanding of your game.
Screenshots & Concept Art - Any art materials that can further provide insight into your vision for the project are very helpful.
Budget & Development Timeline - A breakdown of your monthly burn rate showing us how much and what you’ll need to make your game. A general timeline with development milestones allows us to plan ahead well before your release.
Game Overview - A brief elevator pitch of your game and what the player will be doing.
Technical Information - Please let us know what game engine and version you use, what plugins you use, and what source control you use in your development process.
About You - Show us your awesome team and what they’ve done before!
If you would like to pitch your game to us, please send your pitch deck and any other accompanying materials to hello@whitethorngames.com. We’d love to hear from you!
