CODE OF CONDUCT

This Code of Conduct constitutes a legal agreement between you (“you”, “your” or “user”) and Whitethorn Digital LLC d/b/a Whitethorn Games (“Whitethorn”, “we”, “us”, or “Company”), and governs your use of Whitethorn’s website, social media, mailing lists, chat services, and physical events (the “Platforms”), it also governs the multiplayer and online aspects of any of Whitethorn’s published products (the “Products”).
Whitethorn takes the privacy rights of its users seriously, and we encourage you to also review our Privacy Policy which governs our use of your information.
No Warranty
Whitethorn does not warrant that any message on the Platforms is accurate, complete or useful, and we are not responsible for the content of any message or post not authored by Whitethorn. You remain solely responsible for the content of your posts, messages, and communications and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its affiliates, subsidiaries, employees, representatives and agents with respect to any claim based upon the content of your post or message.
The Code of Conduct is subject to change. Please review it regularly.
You shall at all times respect and refrain from harassing and/or personally attacking other users. You shall not send any messages or posts that are considered foul, vulgar, sexually harassing, racially offensive or in any way discriminatory. This includes, but is not limited to, sexist language, ethnic slurs, hate speech, or vitriolic language directed at any group, race, sex, gender, religion, or other protected identity. We reserve absolute right to remove any message, post, or piece of content for any reason without notice at any time.
We have an absolute zero-tolerance policy for offensive behavior directed at our community members, and you will be removed from the Platforms if you are found to be in violation of the Code of Conduct.
Generally, all of the following are expressly prohibited on all Company and affiliate maintained Platforms and Products:
Direct abuse of another user by way of language that is incisive, threatening, vulgar, crude, foul, or otherwise offensive to a general audience.
Repeated complaints about the Company, other users, the Platform, or the Products without an obvious resolution such as by bug-fixing or feature improvements.
Any threats of any kind, whether direct or implied, that can be reasonably taken to infer physical, emotional, financial, or other harm to an individual or individuals.
Any discussion of bypassing IT, security, 2FA, or other account features maintained by the Company or its affiliates by way of hacking, reverse engineering, or other workaround.
Discussion of widely prohibited substances and activities such as illicit drugs, child pornography, underage consumption of alcohol, or any other direct discussion of activities that could feasibly result in legal consequences or bodily harm.
Discussion that is intended specifically to sell or promote a product or service outside of channels and events specifically dedicated to that purpose.
Hate speech of any kind has an absolute zero tolerance policy across all of the Company’s and its affiliates Platforms and Products and is subject to immediate and permanent denial of service.
You may not post or message any illegal content, or links to illegal content. You may not post or message any material, or links to such material, which
Depicts Nazi symbols or Nazi propaganda;
Degrades the national identity of the Republic of Korea by distorting or altering historical facts;
Is obliquely pornographic or sexually gratuitous in nature;
Constitute an infringement of intellectual property rights; or
Discuss the sale/manufacture of illegal substances, weapons, etc.
“Doxxing”, or disclosing the personal information of other users of the Products and Platforms, including but not limited to real name, address, height, weight, income status, IP address, or other personally identifiable information is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate and permanent denial of service.
In the event of a violation, such violation will be reviewed by the Whitethorn Community Team and the appropriate community and moderation team of our platform partners, if applicable. Disciplinary actions include, in no particular order:
Verbal warning to discontinue behavior.
Written, more formalized “final” warning of discontinuation.
Temporary suspension of services.
Permanent and irrevocable “IP level” denial of services.
Whitethorn, its staff, moderators, and partners reserve permanent and final judgment in all matters related to the enforcement of this policy, and enforcement is a non-negotiable matter between the user and the Company.
