Befriend them, name them, add them to your party, send them to live at the café, and most importantly, love them forever! Interact with your new friends by dancing, cuddling, petting, carrying, lounging with, and playing with them!

  • Bewitching Good Looks: Express yourself through fashion! Create an avatar and customize them with collectable clothing found throughout the game.

  • Design, Decorate, Delight: Decorate the interior and exterior of the café to your liking! Collect and arrange furniture and toys for both your human and animal visitors. Cat trees, scratching posts, and dog beds are definite must-haves!

  • The Power of Magic: The world of Calico has no limits! With the potion system, there are so many ways to live out your magical dreams. Want to make your feline friend ginormous? The Big Small potion has you covered!

Today, the team provides an early look into some of the effects used to help create the idyllic winter atmosphere by sharing a new trailer.

As fans of the snow, the team at Gamious is working to ensure the most important details are present to create their captivating winter wonderland. From the crunch of snow under heavy boots and the fluffy clumps that flick up as you walk, to tire tracks and doughnuts in the snow, to the pine branches sagging with heavy ice crystals after a recent snowfall, you’ll be transported to a picturesque snowscape without ever having to pick up a shovel!

Watch the Sights and Sounds of Providence Oaks trailer below:

Lake: Season’s Greetings is a Christmas-themed prequel to the successful, relaxing mail carrier narrative adventure, Lake, and introduces a new chapter to the story, presenting a different perspective to many of the familiar faces players have grown to love from the main story. The Sun-Drenched Shores of Ambrosia Island are Yours to Explore Next Summer, in Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island

A sunny vacationer’s paradise populated by Mount Olympus’ most divine beings will welcome you to walk along its shores next year! Today, Whitethorn Games — publisher of inclusive, accessible, easy-going games including Calico, Lake, and Wytchwood — and  Polygon Treehouse — the developer behind the BAFTA Award-nominated Röki — announce that their upcoming relaxing friend-em-up adventure Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island is coming to PC and consoles in summer of 2024. Soon, you’ll be able to embark on a non-violent adventure that invites you to escape to a beautiful Mediterranean island, explore its gorgeous sandy beaches, awe-inspiring ruins, and vibrant vegetation as you uncover its magic and secrets and befriend the gods.

Watch the Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island release window gameplay trailer below:

“We put a lot of ourselves into our games, and Mythwrecked is very close to our hearts. We want to make sure the game lives up to its potential, and we put the best possible version of the game into the hands of players,” said Alex Kanaris-Sotiriou, Director and Lead Developer at Polygon Treehouse.

He continues, “We’ve been thrilled to showcase Mythwrecked at prestigious events like LudoNarraCon and The Future Games Show and the response has been amazing, from both players and press. People are always surprised how tiny the team at Polygon Treehouse is, and by moving the release to next year we can make sure that we put the best possible version of the game into the hands of players, and also enjoy the journey ourselves. We’re stoked to have the support and belief of the awesome folks from Whitethorn Games backing us and can’t wait to show more of the game in the coming months.”

“We 100% support this new extended development timeline for Mythwrecked,” said Dr. Matthew White, CEO of Whitethorn Games. “We value our developers and will do whatever we can to support them as they fulfill the true visions they have for their games. Working with the team at Polygon Treehouse is a joy, and we’ll continue to provide the resources they need to create the game they set out to make.”

Mythwrecked invites you to take on the role of backpacker Alex, who has found herself stranded on the gorgeous shores of Ambrosia Island. As she begins to explore her surroundings, she discovers that she is not alone – the island is populated by the gods of Greek myth and legend! However, something is amiss – the gods are unable to remember who they are. In order to find her way home, she must befriend the inhabitants and help them to restore their memories.

Explore the dynamic island in this non-linear adventure and unravel its story to discover its celestial guests and build friendships with the gods through a unique relationship mechanic. The closer you become, the more they are willing to help Alex with their godly powers. Solve the mystery of Ambrosia Island, save the gods, and hopefully help Alex find a way back home!

Key Features of Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island include:

  • Gods Among Us: Many Gods call Ambrosia Island home, from Ares to Athena, Hermes to Hades. Tracking them all down is made easier with the Ambrosidex, though some may be harder to meet than others.

  • Treasure in the Sandbox: Use the radar signal on the Ambrosidex to hunt for lost godly treasures hidden all over the island! Return them to their rightful owners and help rekindle their memories and learn more about the island’s fate.

  • Conversational Wizard: Explore the island, examine new objects and locations, and talk to others to unlock new conversation topics. Maybe some Gods know something that will help Alex on her adventure, but some sensitive topics may be off-limits until you have earned their friendship.

  • Greek Legend: Experience a non-linear, emotional story about the importance of friendship, family, and community.

Mythwrecked: Ambrosia Island will launch on PC via Steam and consoles summer of 2024.
